The Township of Nipigon Public Works Department will be conducting routine hydrant flushing on October 6, 2026. Hydrant flushing will take place across the municipality.

During flushing, residents may experience temporary discoloured water or a slight reduction in water pressure. While the water remains safe, discoloured water may stain laundry. If you notice discolouration, run your cold water tap for several minutes until the water clears.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we perform this important maintenance to help maintain water quality and ensure the reliability of our water distribution system.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Municipal Office at 807-887-3135.

Thank you for your cooperation!
