NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, an insufficient number of certified nominations have been received to fill the following school board trustee offices:

Superior-Greenstone District School Board (English Public)
One (1) Trustee
Geographic Area: Township of Nipigon and Ward 62

Superior North Catholic District School Board (English Separate)
One (1) Trustee
Geographic Area: Township of Nipigon and Municipality 10 (Ward 62)

Accordingly, additional nominations for these offices may be filed with the Clerk of the Township of Nipigon on:

Wednesday, August 26, 2026
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Nomination papers must be filed in person by the candidate or by an agent acting on the candidate's behalf at:

Nipigon, Ontario

The prescribed nomination filing fee is $100, payable at the time the nomination is filed.

Candidates for school board trustee must meet the eligibility requirements of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 and the Education Act applicable to the school board for which they seek election.
