The Township of Nipigon is pleased to advise residents that several road paving and sidewalk improvement projects are planned for this fall. Work is anticipated to begin in early September and be completed by the end of October, weather and site conditions permitting.

Paving projects include:

• Greenmantle Drive – between Bliss Road and the end of existing asphalt
• Bell Street – between 5th & 7th Streets
• 9th Street – between McKirdy Avenue and Railway Street

Sidewalk improvements include:

• 4 Front Street
• 56 Front Street
• 5th Street Railway Crossing
• Bell Street

A map identifying the project locations is included with this notice. Paving projects are shown with a red line, while sidewalk projects are identified with a red circle.

Residents in and around these areas should expect temporary traffic disruptions, construction activity, and changes to pedestrian access while the work is underway. Please use caution around construction areas and follow any posted signage or directions from contractors.
