Last call for applications for our 2026 Seniors’ Snow Removal Subsidy Pilot Program! 

We have a few spots left in our Seniors’ Snow Removal Subsidy Pilot Program, so the deadline has been extended until February 13, 2026.  This program will help offset snow removal costs for low-income seniors in our community.  Applications are available here https://www.nipigon.net/documents/senior-s-snow-removal-subsidy-pilot-program-application/viewdocument/657, and physical copies will be available at the Township Office, Library, Silver Club, and Nipigon Community Centre.  Once completed, applications can be submitted in-person at the Township Office front desk or sent by mail.  As this is a pilot program and funds are limited, we are evaluating applications on a first-come, first-served basis, up to a maximum of 20 participants until February 13, 2026.  Successful applicants will be issued a $125 installment at mid-February 2026, and another $125 installment at the end of March 2026.  If you have any questions about the program, or need help completing the application, please contact us at or 807-887-3135, ext. 201.
