The Township of Nipigon’s 2026 Waste Collection & Landfill Schedule is now available for residents to view and save for the year ahead.
This schedule includes everything you need to plan throughout the year, including garbage and recycling collection dates, landfill operating hours (winter and summer), stat holiday closures, and spring and fall cleanup dates.
Spring & Fall Cleanup
Spring Cleanup (curbside pick-up): May 19, 22, 26 & 29, 2026
Fall Cleanup (drop-off only): October 19–24, 2026
Hazardous Waste Day
Hazardous Waste Day takes place every other year, with the next event scheduled for Spring/Summer 2027.
Landfill Access Cards
Residents are reminded to pick up their landfill access card at the Municipal Office.
