The Township of Nipigon is happy to announce that we are now accepting applications for our Seniors’ Snow Removal Subsidy Pilot Program.  This program will help offset snow removal costs for low-income seniors in our community.  Applications are available here: https://www.nipigon.net/documents/senior-s-snow-removal-subsidy-pilot-program-application/viewdocument/657 and physical copies will be available at the Township Office, Library, Silver Club, and Nipigon Community Center.  Once completed, applications can be submitted in-person at the Township Office front desk or sent by mail.  As this is a pilot program and funds are limited, we are evaluating applications on a first-come, first-served basis, up to a maximum of 20 participants until the end of January.  Successful applicants will be issued a $125 installment at the end of January 2026, and invited to apply for a second $125 installment at the end of March 2026.  If you have any questions about the program, or need help completing the application, please contact us at or 807-887-3135, ext. 201.
