The Township of Nipigon Public Works team is currently responding to a watermain break on Front Street (between 3rd and 2nd Street).

Crews are on-site completing emergency repairs, which require excavation through asphalt, curb, and sidewalk.

For your safety, please avoid the work zone. Heavy equipment, open excavation, and utility hazards make this area unsafe for pedestrians and vehicles not involved in the repair.

Properties affected by the water service disruption have been notified directly. Updates will be provided as work progresses and service is restored.

Emergency services will be accommodated at all times.
