Re: Temporary Street Closure and Limited Railway Crossing Access
Dear Sir/Madam,
Please be advised that the upgrades to the 5th Street Railway Crossing are set to occur on Wednesday October 1st, Thursday October 2nd & Friday October 3rd weather permitting.
To facilitate the upgrades the crossing will be closed from 7:00am on Thursday October 2nd until 4:00pm on Friday October 3rd. There will also be some temporary disruptions causing brief closures of the crossing throughout the day on Wednesday October 1st. The detour route to allow traffic access in and out of the downtown core will be through Cemetery Road & Landing Road under the Nipigon River Bridge.
Please see the map attached which shows the closure area depicted with a red circle, and the detour route which is depicted with a yellow line.
We understand this may cause some inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve the road network in your area. Emergency services will be accommodated at all times.
