Do you know someone who makes a difference to our community? The Township invites nominations for Citizen of the Year until November 7th. Please email your nomination to or drop off at 52 Front Street.

Citizen of the Year Awards

Each year the Township of Nipigon accepts nominations for Citizen of the Year. The Citizen of the Year Awards recognizes Nipigon volunteers who have demonstrated all-around community involvement rather than specific activity or contribution. This award is given to individuals who build communities and show what can be achieved with passion and determination. and presents it to the recipient at the Annual Christmas Reception.
