Blueberry Blast

 

Join us for a fun filled weekend celebrating ten years of blueberry picking and family entertainment. Check back for the downloadable Blueberry Blast Schedule to find out about all of the events held at the Nipigon Marina and the Nipigon Legion.

 

Take advantage of the "Blueberry Bus" leaving at 9am every morning of the Blast. The bus will bring you to and from the local, hot picking spots. Bring your own pail for berries, a good hat, bug spray and sunscreen. There are prizes for the best pickers! Water is provided.

The entertainment is starting on Friday night with local musicians, and continuing on Saturday with blueberry picking, breakfast, crafts, baking and silent auction. On Sunday, you can enjoy more blueberry picking, several work shops, a supper and entertainment from noon 'til dusk! Monday wraps up the long weekend with the Teddy Bear Picnic, Petting Zoo and Fish Fry.
