The Nipigon Labour Adjustment Centre is a
comfortable and non-threatening place to visit for help, information and
support. The staff is trained to provide emotional support along with the
ability to direct workers towards the resources needed.
Losing your job is one of the most stressful things that can happen in your life. You have lost your main source of income, work relationships; structure and sense of purpose, but you don't have to deal with it alone!
PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE
The centre is staffed and
administered by displaced workers.
Workers who have recently lost
their jobs usually have many questions and need information before they can
make a decision about what to do next.
The staff is trained to provide emotional support along with the ability to direct workers towards the resources needed.
