Cat and Dog Tags

As per our animal control by-law tags are to be purchased for cats and dogs by January 31^st of every year.

Rates

• Altered male or female $ 15.00
• Unaltered male or female $ 55.00
• Altered male or female and microchipped FREE tag issued

You must present your proof of spay or neuter to be eligible for reduced rate.

Other pertinent parts of the by-law

"Anyone wishing to walk their dog in and round the Nipigon marina park lands must do so with a leash or similar apparatus no longer than twelve (12) feet in length. Any dog that is found not connected to a person with a leash or similar apparatus on park lands as outlined above will be considered as a dog running at large."

"Any person owning, harbouring or having control or supervision over any dog which defecates in or upon any land within the Township of Nipigon shall remove such excrrement and deposit in a lawful place."
