This is a full-time shared position. The successful applicant
will provide Information Technician services to the Nipigon District
Memorial Hospital, Township of Nipigon and Red Rock First Nations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of Computer Systems Technology, Electronics General Servicing and/or other Computer Systems Certification. Extensive knowledge In Hardware, Operating Systems, Networks, Security and Web/Database/Mail Servers.
Must be able to work flexible hours, possess a valid driver’s licence and use personal vehicle.
DUTIES: Work closely with the hospital Information Technologist to assist with the installation of Meditech program, troubleshooting, installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems, website design, span and virus control, installing and teaching software programs. The candidate will be involved in community/regional initiatives such as marketing the community and working with Municipalities and Red Rock First Nations.
